To submit an article, you can send a direct message to Polaris#2747 on discord (using the form below), or put your submission on this forum topic! The categories are Gaian Roleplay, Foreign Affairs, Nation Roleplay, and Regional News. Generally, your story is either going to be in Gaian or Nation Roleplay; Foreign Affairs and Regional News topics are likely to be written by me, an editor of the newspaper, or a Foreign Affairs official (our diplomats or the Teryn of Foreign Affairs).

Becoming a Journalist
If you would like to become a Journalist, please send a direct message on discord to Polaris#2747, or post a message on this forum topic. To become a Journalist, you must be a part of the Grace of Gaia and must have both good English and good grammatical skills.

There are several positions that a Journalist may hold. All positions come with the Patrician of Journalism role in our regional government. Editors and Writers are required to share all drafts with the Head Journalist (Arudis).

Journalist-Editor - You may only edit stories that are assigned to you. All drafts of a story edit must be sent to me before the final draft is sent to the original submitter of the story. This where you will start.

Journalist-Writer - Along with editing stories, you can now write your own stories outside of submissions for the CoG. Before you do this, you must discuss what you want to write about with me.

Journalist-Full - You are officially a fully-fledged Journalist for the CoG! You are no longer required to talk with me about stories you write, and drafts can be written fully on your own. However, if you still want a second pair of eyes to read over a draft, feel free to send it to me (Arudis) anyways!

If a Journalist abuses their power in any way, they will be stripped of the position and will be barred from becoming a Journalist again.
